Take a break from busy chaotic city life and enjoy the beautiful view of the district covered in tea bushes with a hill town right beside a plantation and pristine landscapes made up of sloping tea gardens, mountain streams, holy sites, and unique people and culture.

A short walk in a tea garden, picnic in the peaceful area and sightseeing stops, short hikes along gentle hills, or explore the nearby woods – enjoy all this and more in the greenery of Ilam.

Horse ride around the area:

Horse riding is the local business for the people of Illam. You can tour around the tea garden on a horse and taste different teas from the tea spots. You can find locals on the sidewalks with their horses and ask them for a ride.

Buying tea packets is extremely cheap and fun in Illam, taste your tea and only buy. I would recommend buying raw tea leaves, it tastes much better than the processed ones with its natural flavor and it’s healthy too.
