Gateway to wonderful, long treks like:

Annapurna circuit trek

This adventurous trek is about 160 to 200 km long and will take about 20 days to complete.

Start your journey from Besisahar.( 7 hours drive from Capital city Kathmandu).

Spectacular views of mountains and nature, passing through two rural villages which are still in their original state representing the Tibetan style home. Taking rest on one of the villages will help in acclimatization.

Be prepared with Essentials

Most importantly water and food energize you through out the route. Climbing up in the hills dehydrates you so DO NOT finish all your water early because drinking sips of water will boost your oxygen level when oxygen in the air is thin during the trek.

DO NOT make your bag heavy ! The Nepalese porters will help you with 10 kg of your goods.

Only bring essentials like: sleeping bag , medicines, thermal layers, head torch and trekking boots and warm jacket.

Due to the best weather within the circuit, everything looks refreshed and clean. Generally the days are warm but starts to drop to freezing cold. Clear night sky and fun filled adventure throughout the day.

Short hikes

These short hikes will make your journey wonderful with warm surrounding, easy routes, no altitude sickness, promising mountain view and friendly people.

  1. Naudanda (One day hike)

Short one day hike (5 to 7 hours) starting from Sarangkot gives you the best experience of rural life of Nepal. Closer view of mountains, perfect view of Phewa lake and stunning farming culture.

Small village people and smiley faces are always ready to welcome you to their village.

It is at an elevation of 1600 meters above sea level. A classic Himalayan panorama, especially on clear mornings, is rewarding after your enthusiastic walks.

2. Dhampus Village Trek( 4 to 5 day hike)

This 5 day trek is best way to explore small village located in the north eastern part of pokhara. Warm hearted people (ethnic group “Gurung’s” , excellent hospitality, Rhododendron flower (march/april) and closer view of mountain ranges( fish tail mountain) are the main highlights of this hike.

  • Zip flyer : Go for the longest, tallest and steepest zip ( length: 1.8 km , incline : 56 degrees, speed: 120km/hr) will cost you about USD $70 per ride.

The next adventure you can try is Pokhara Bungee ( a 80m high bungee jump) which is located in Hemja (20min drive from city) and the cost for a jump is around $60.

Every night from 8:00 pm to 3:00 am in the morning there is crazy crowd in the pubs of pokhara. Mainly on the side Phewa lake there are numbers of pubs and bars so that tourists as well as local people could have wonderful and rocking nights. Most of the time people from different places visit Pokhara just for its exuberent nightlife.

Lake Visit : Pokhara is also famous for lakes. It is renowned as “City of 7 lakes” There are 7 lakes located within Pokhara valley. The famous lakes of Pokhara are :

  • Phewa lake : 4.43 km square . It is the 2nd largest lake of Nepal.
